Alec moved to Brooklyn and found a community thanks to the local digital daily newspaper. He appreciated its focus on promoting local businesses and reporting on stories that mattered to both new and old residents of the area. When the opportunity to purchase the publication arose, he put all his resources into the project and now is the majority owner. Alec is working to expand readership and increase revenue while maintaining the focus on public service and local reporting for his daily readers.
